Send CV directly to the advertiser: Senior Credit Controller JHB South Our wonderful client to work for, is a leading manufacturer and supplier of earthmoving machine components based in South Johannesburg, has a Senior Credit Controller position. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the group meets its DSO and cash collection objectives, while maintaining strong customer relationships. Duties and responsibilities: · Be the person to go to for any credit-related problem · Adherence to the group’s credit control policy · Opening new accounts and conducting credit checks on new customers · Maintain correct credit limits with the credit insurer · Daily release of suspended orders and COO · Send monthly account statements · Timely allocation of payments to ensure that the account has been paid in complete · Timely resolution of claims and queries; liaison with the sales/commercial team when necessary · Negotiate agreements with clients, covering payment and query resolution · Evaluation of accounts for possible cancellations or legal actions · Ad hoc visits to clients to maintain client relationships. · Feedback issues to line management · Timely delivery to lawyers · Ensure that the monthly book value is maintained according to the KPIs Desired Experience and Qualifications: Certificate of registration Credit Management Diploma or other related tertiary qualification an advantage Required skills: More than 3 years of experience in senior credit control Excellent computer skills in MS Word, Excel and Outlook Knowledge of an ERP system. Accuracy and attention to detail, as well as the ability to meet deadlines Excellent command of the English language; Afrikaans language an added bonus Ability to communicate at all levels with clients and management.
