JOB DESCRIPTION:
Interim Professor REF NUMBER: KHC/2022/01 NO. OF POSTS: 01 SALARY: R214 908 per year. CENTER: King Hintsa TVET College-Msobomvu Campus.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Grade 12 / NCV Level 4. Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering / PGCE (Senior and FET Phase) of three years recognized. • Must have a relevant teacher Authorization and must be registered in SACE. • Very good knowledge of the subject area and applications related to the job. You must have at least two years of teaching experience. • Good record keeping and classroom management skills. • Advisor, moderator, TVET Experience in the sector and a valid driver’s license will be valued.
COMPETENCIES:
• Computer skills in MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint. • Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines. Strong leadership, communication, monitoring and evaluation, problem solving and innovation skills. • Good planning, organization, monitoring and evaluation skills.
HOMEWORK:
• Civil Engineering N1-N6 Teaching students in the classroom provides theoretical and practical training. Prepare lesson plans and maintain student attendance record and produce progress reports. Ensuring consistency in line with the ICASS principles and Requirements of the university evaluation policy. Participate in regular study unit meetings, informing colleagues of all issues related to student performance. Keep industry knowledge up-to-date. trends in the subject area.
