UNLIMITED PASSIONATE PARTNERS IN ACTION (PUPA) PUPA wishes to appoint suitably qualified individuals to serve as Data Quality Officer in Alfred Nzo District.
Applicants must have the ability to work in a high-pressure, demanding environment and be able to travel extensively and frequently.
JOB TITLE:
Data Quality Officer (x 2)
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Carry out a thorough and extensive verification of all data, including detailed verification of reported data against source documents, to ensure that all data captured is accurate and valid.
• Write reports and provide feedback on detected data quality issues
• Clean raw data where necessary in accordance with good data management practices
• Work closely with the programmatic team, implementing systems to improve data quality Verify captured data against source documents and investigate and flag any issues with data source documents.
• Review data to identify and address any missing data, inconsistencies, discrepancies or errors
• Write reports and provide feedback on detected data quality issues
• Perform basic data analysis in order to provide recommendations on improving measures and data quality controls
• Visit the sites to verify the data on a monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual basis.
LOCATION:
Ntabankulu (x 2) SALARY: Market related Preferred start date May 2022
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Social Sciences/Public Health or related discipline
• Tertiary qualification in a related field will be highly advantageous with a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role, advanced computing Skills: MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Experience with data management software will be an advantage Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a high-stress, fast-paced environment
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Process driven with the ability to perform tasks in a structured environment
• Ability to act with integrity and honesty in the performance of all functions
• Results-oriented, professional, responsible and proactive
• Demonstrated ability to drive high-quality data management
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum 2 years of experience in data capture.
