Salary R10K, An established award winning game Reserve is looking for a Central Stock Manager to join the procurement department.
Job Requirements:
Mastery of Pastel Evolution accounting software.
Good command of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel and Outlook.
Knowledge of stock control procedures.
Good communication skills as needed to be able to communicate with vendors and staff.
Excellent numerical skills.
Ability to work long hours to get the job done.
Logic and foresight is required.
Experience in financial accounting will be an advantage.
Work description:
Processing of all records of use of beverages from camps, warehouses, coolers, stores, etc. Processing of all beverage transfers to various warehouses.
Processing of all beverage invoices. Processing of invoices for stationery, uniform, maintenance, crockery, cutlery, glassware, ops items, other random items.
Processing orders for drinks, stationery, other randoms.
Receiving deliveries from vendors, double checking items received against orders, bug tracking.
Organize shopping trip.
Receiving shopping trips, double-checking received items against orders, tracking bugs, and shipping merchandise to the correct departments.
Issuance of merchandise such as stationery, uniforms, medical supplies, cutlery, crockery, etc.
Taking inventory of beverages, maintenance, stationery, uniform, crockery, cutlery, glassware, operations items, etc.
Making sure stockers are on top of their duties and making sure the basics are always done, like making sure the ice freezer is stocked, coolers are tidy, glass bottles are being filled, etc.
Help with any random issues that come up, ie bottling plant not producing sparkling water, follow up, troubleshoot and make sure the issue is fixed.
Control the cleanliness of the warehouse and ensure that the stock is always full.
Monitor stock movement and identify any issues, potential stock theft, etc.
Make sure the store is kept tidy.
Help with the night standby on the radio and assist the camps with any issues that need to be resolved in the evenings.
Duties will include but are not limited to the above, and other duties may be added over time.
