Assistant to the General Manager of the Game Reserve Grahamstown area, Eastern Cape R25K – R30K Live In We are looking for an experienced Assistant General Manager for a 5-star luxury booking. Relevant experience required: Experience in a senior management position within a luxury safari operation for more than 3 years. Any relevant hospitality qualifications will be advantageous Highly computer literate Excellent English in verbal and written format. Excellent communication and organization skills. Additional language proficiency advantageous Experience in HR management and stock control management Ability to contribute and analyze financial information. The main areas of responsibility can be classified as follows: Ensure operational efficiencies throughout the company’s product. Drive and maintain superior levels of guest service and guest satisfaction. Play an important role in contributing to the direction and culture of the organization. Training, mentoring and monitoring of middle managers, especially (but not only) managers of hostels and villas. Play a key role in regular interaction with guests and ensure all aspects of the guest stay are taken care of, and relevant information is passed on to relevant department heads in a timely manner. Contribute to the creation, execution and monitoring of the budgets of the entire hotel product of the company. Communicate courageously, frequently and respectfully with all members of the Company team. Communication: The Assistant General Manager position requires excellent communication skills.
