KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS • Liaise with KZN Library Service, communities and librarians regarding library provision. • Carry out supervision and control of all branch libraries and ensure that the libraries are managed effectively. • Oversee budgets and library maintenance. • Coordinate reports and statistics with KZN library services and relevant managers. • Ensure that outreach activities and programs are organized and implemented. • Manage the reporting requirements associated with this publication • Develop library material to ensure the satisfaction of user needs and the effective use of the library by the local community. • Manage library staff. SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES MUST WORK SATURDAYS ==================================================== ============================= SENIOR REGISTRATION CLERK SALARY SCALE: R212 791.85 – R250 938.63 per year (T9) APPLICABLE BENEFITS: Medical Assistance, Pension, Check 13, Owner’s Allowance MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: • 12th grade certificate • Bachelor’s degree/National Diploma in Archives and Records Management or Information Management or equivalent qualification • Computer literacy • Good communication and interpersonal skills • 2-3 years of relevant experience KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: • Capture by means of sequential codes and monitoring of the status of correspondence received/dispatched. • Insertion of registration control numbers and references in all internal correspondence, resolutions, memorandums and bulletins prior to their circulation. • Startup sequence to maintain and update mail reminder and fill system • Creation of new files. • Supervise compliance with the procedural requirements related to the access and issuance of document files. • Coordination of sequences to facilitate the recovery of documents and files by users. • Maintain and update copies of current laws, statutes and regulations. • Sequence co-ordination to facilitate archiving and disposal of old and obsolete records • Extraction, collection and analysis of information to monitor the use of printers and related automated office equipment • Collate, consolidate, and prepare schedules that reflect the use of specific services and forward records of equipment located within the registry, and report loss and damage. • Attend and make available information to support the settlement of insurance claims. • Updating and circulation of active records such as litigation; records of leases and incidents. • Supervise the operations of the Registrar and Messengers.
