There is a vacancy within Merensky at Langeni Sawmill, located near Mthatha for a suitably qualified and experienced individual: MECHANICAL LOADER The successful incumbent will report directly to the engineer and must meet the following criteria: JOB SPECIFICATIONS: • Enrolled with relevant engineering/technical qualification – NQF Level 6 • Certificate of Commerce of installer and appropriate turner. • 5 – 8 years of management experience in an industrial production environment. • 5 – 8 years of experience providing technical support with automated equipment. • Knowledge of the sawmill industry. REQUIREMENTS OF THE PERSON: • Must be able to communicate effectively at all levels. • Must have a high level of commitment to accuracy and quality. • Must have a penchant for technology. • Must have the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. • Must be innovative and have the ability to work independently and in a team • You must be security conscious. • Must be able to supervise, coach and guide.
