financial accountant Bryanston salary R30K A group of hotels and hunting lodges is looking for a financial accountant for its head office in Bryanston.
You will be responsible for the Financial Management of an Established property. You must have 5 years of experience within Hotel Accounts. You must have a valid SA ID and a full clean driver’s license and your own transportation as you will be required to travel to a Game Lodge on occasion. The position reports to the Group Finance Manager, who is the Chief Financial Officer of said property. Candidate should have experience preparing month-end journals, sufficient knowledge of F&B and COS stocks, and be able to prepare a set of management accounts to present to management. ACCPAC & VIP are a basic requirement. Candidate must be able to work unsupervised, have a strong work ethic, and a heightened attention to detail. The position is live based out of HO in Bryanston. MUST be able to travel to properties when needed. The company will cover the travel expenses. Salary: R30000 CTC, which includes health care costs and provident fund, semi-negotiable within reason. A valid RSA ID is required. Proven track record and experience is a MUST – anyone without finance and hospitality experience will be immediately dismissed. Candidate MUST have been the Senior Finance Officer compiling the actual management account package; no assistants/controllers please where they have had no exposure or involvement in month end accounting. Office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, non-negotiable
