Send CV directly to the advertiser: TEAM LEADER – PRECISION ENGINEERING Maitland, Cape Town Salary negotiable plus Benefits Contributions Precision Engineering Shop seeks a Team Leader to manufacture products/components by supervising staff, reporting on performance, organizing and monitoring workflow, ensuring products/components are produced to specification (Quality) within the planned time (Efficiency) at the right cost (Waste Reduction / Productivity Improvements) and uphold company policies and procedures and lead improvement projects within relevant work areas. Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering 5 years related experience, preferably in the mechanical industry, understanding of health and safety, English and Afrikaans and own car. You will be responsible for on-time delivery, producing components to the correct quality standards, percentage of reworked units, labor cost, and meeting production targets. You will need a working knowledge of production and processing in a precision engineering shop: knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques to maximize the effective manufacturing and distribution of components.
