Send CV directly to the advertiser: Stormwater Modeler We are looking for a hydraulic and hydrological modeler of stormwater drainage infrastructure for our client’s offices in Port Elizabeth, East London OR Cape Town. This appointment will be made in terms of the company’s Labor Equity Plan. Salary will be market related and dependent on the qualifications and experience of the applicant. You must submit your CV with adequate information showing your experience related to the specific Responsibilities, qualifications and experience listed below. RESPONSIBILITIES • Basin hydrology and flood hydraulics for large urban basins; • Modeling of existing and proposed stormwater drainage systems with PCSWMM; • Conceptual design of necessary stormwater infrastructure improvements; • Drafting of technical reports focused on hydrological and hydraulic reports. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE • At least a BSc, BEng or B-Tech in Civil Engineering • Registered PrEng or PrTech (Eng) • Proficient in the use of PCSWMM, AutoCAD, ArcGIS, Microsoft Office Suite; • Consideration will be given to candidates who are proficient in the use of Hydraflow Hydrographs, Storm Sewers, Storm and Sanitary Analysis if they do not have experience with the above software. • At least 8 years of post-qualification experience in stormwater master planning and steady state and unsteady state modeling of open and closed channel stormwater systems; • Must be an effective communicator (personal, business, written, spoken); ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS • Own vehicle • Valid driver’s license recruit@rmgrecruitment.co.za
