Send CV directly to the advertiser: QUALITY CONTROLLER Cape Town Our client in Montague Gardens is looking to hire a quality controller DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: – Maintenance and coordination of a company food safety program to maintain legal compliance with the legal requirements prescribed in the food industry. – Coordinate and assist with technical training and general competency for management and employees regarding operational aspects of the food safety program, pest control, environmental and operational methods, personnel practices, and food safety maintenance. food and hygiene/cleanliness practices. – Complete audits of food suppliers (against implemented HACPP systems), identifying required corrective actions and escalations of major concerns and ensuring action there as needed – Liaise with local authority inspectors and law enforcement officials as needed. – Coordinate ongoing departmental food safety program development requirements and compliance, including conducting internal audits. – Foster good working relationships both within and between departments under the food safety program. – Ensuring that all records, records and documentation related to the role are properly maintained – Work closely with other security representatives within the company and assist as needed and develop a supportive relationship. – Be responsible for managing own workload escalation issues or workloads becoming unmanageable EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Registration Food safety certificate or rating 3- 5 years of industry experience Computing SALARY: Defendant negotiable on experience and qualifications If you fit the profile, please email careers@wenzrecruitment.co.za
