Responsibilities: Manage stock line reports and train all staff on SOPs related to stock control Maintain stock accuracy at all times Maintain proper records and reports to ensure strict inventory and security control is maintained. Control receipt of all stock transfers from all suppliers Accurately write and record stock electronically per SOP (description, lot number, expiration date) Ensure proper stock rotation Ensure that the goods received correspond to the documentation and are of good quality. Examine products to verify compliance with quality standards. Make sure all damage is recorded and the correct procedure is followed Make sure the bundled products are in accordance with the FEFO system Supervise that container transfers are carried out in a timely manner according to the inventory control schedule Monitor replenishment of pick faces according to inventory control schedule Investigate and resolve stock inquiries within reasonable timeframes Monitor customer returns: sign cash receipts, customer credit returns, accurate reverse sorting of returned stock Conduct regular cycle counts Help maintain warehouse security. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety. Comply with the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) Requirements: Proven experience in inventory management. Effective Supervisory Skills and Techniques Ability to investigate variations. Proficient knowledge of MS Office and the ability to enter and retrieve data on PC Practical commitment to get the job done Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations.
