WALTER SISULU UNIVERSITY EXTERNAL ADVERTISING FACULTY OF HEALTH SCIENCES DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN BIOLOGY Applications are hereby invited for the following position: LABORATORY TECHNICIAN (ANATOMY), PEROMNES – 10, PERMANENT REFERENCE NUMBER: WSU MTH INT 2022/0033 RATINGS: • BSc or BTech qualification in Morphological Sciences, Histology, Histopathology or related discipline EXPERIENCE: • Minimum of 2 years of laboratory experience in higher education, clinical, or research settings KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: • Laboratory administration and work, managing equipment and taking care of the laboratory and its contents. • Teach research techniques to graduate students • Train, mentor and evaluate new laboratory staff • Ability to work and learn special laboratory research methods in Histology • Assistance in the Practical Classes of Histology (undergraduate students) • Carry out a bibliographic search of ongoing research projects in the department.
