VACANCY: Spray Plant Installer COMPANY: Lumotech LOCATION: Kariega / Uitenhage OBJECTIVE: To correctly set up the spray robot, tool jigs, machinery and equipment according to process instructions so that the correct quality and quantity of products can be produced. HOMEWORK: • Ensure access to and familiarity with all policies and procedures applicable to the job. • Receive tasks from the Craftsman, Technician and/or Process Engineer. • Get the correct instructions for the work to be done. • Set up spray robot/jigs and fixtures/machinery and equipment per process instructions and adjust as necessary to ensure production of acceptable quality and quantity. • Ensure line setup and changeovers are performed with minimal production disruption and maximum attention to minimize line setup/changeover times. • Check unused tools, template and accessories for damage and make sure they are stored in the correct places. • Maintain a high level of cleanliness and safe work practices at all times. REQUIREMENTS: • Electrical or mechanical qualification. • Knowledge of robot programming and spray painting will be advantageous. • Two – Three years of relevant experience. • Work experience in the manufacturing industry would be an additional advantage.
