VACANCY: Production Manager COMPANY: Lumotech LOCATION: Kariega / Uitenhage A vacancy has arisen for a Production Manager to manage the Spray Facility reporting to the General Manager: Manufacturing – Mr. Warren Barry. OBJECTIVE: Manage and control activities within the production spray facility as well as plan, organize and control operations within the facility to ensure production targets are on file and targets are met in accordance with customer requirements and quality. KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: • Plan daily production requirements to meet customer requirements. • Continuously measure, monitor and control production. • Measure and improve efficiency. • Lead a team to ensure and improve production. • Lead, motivate and develop team members to ensure a supportive environment and culture. • Have a complete understanding of the expectations and standards of the client’s specific quality systems. REQUIREMENTS: • A relevant formal qualification in the field related to production. • Five years of experience in a manufacturing environment in a spray/paint shop environment would be highly advantageous. • Good leadership and communication skills. • Computer skills: MS Office, Syspro (advantageous), OEE software (advantageous).
