EASTERN CAPE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION ANNOUNCEMENT FOR RESEARCH INTERN x 15 PERIOD: 24 Months CLOSING DATE: August 26, 2022 STIPEND: R7 500 per month All investigators will be centrally located in the Office of the Head of Department and under the Directorate for Policy and Research. The research intern will be responsible for assisting in departmental policy review, development of annual operating plans, annual performance plan, developing and maintaining strategic issues and publishing research products, and researching strategic issues and refining research products. REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS: • Knowledge of research methods. • Capacity to work under pressure. • Excellent time management. • Excellent organization and communication skills. • High levels of initiative are encouraged. • Ability to work independently. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS • Doctorate/Master’s degree. • Enrolled for Doctorate (Attach Proof of Enrollment). • Good analytical skills and computer knowledge. • Research experience (academic-related/work-related).
