VACANT: BRONKHORSTSPRUIT!! 5 General Yard Attendants/Controllers Required Our Bronkhorstspruit-based client is looking for 5 young, hands-on, hard-working Yard Attendants/Controllers to join their team on a 3-month fixed-term contract. General purpose of the work; General work to be done where and when required in the yard Ensure the cleanliness of the patio. Ensuring cleanliness standards Ensure production plan is followed Ensure trucks are loaded correctly based on pickup receipt Report all yard safety and maintenance issues to your supervisor Tile painting and accessories Do rework on half pallets Loads lose tiles in customers’ vehicles or help drivers accordingly prepare props Rework of returned goods Cycle Counter record damage Help with loading and unloading help with popsicles support and relay for current dispatch and load checker Main Responsibilities: Safety: Identify the specific safety hazards that will be encountered in the performance of your job and take corrective action to minimize them. Wear personal protective clothing provided by the company. Escalate any security issues within your work area. Operational clean yard and any area where required Must be able to operate a forklift It may be necessary to charge after the cut-off time, as agreed by the client Report defects and damage to supervisor Any other tasks you may be asked to help or perform when needed Ratings: grade 12 certificate Experience in current industry or related work environment would be advantageous Competencies: Able to read and interpret instructions.
