Finance (Internship) Agrément South Africa (ASA) invites candidates to apply for the following internship position in Pretoria:

Finance (Internship) Duration: 12 months Remuneration: R113 955.00 per year (total cost to the company) Reference number: ASA00068/2022

Objective:

The incumbent will have the opportunity to gain experience in the Finance department.

Duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Review open purchase orders Review purchase orders and keep track of long-standing purchase orders Liaison with internal and external clients/clients Assist in contract management functions

. Exposure to report writing and information gathering

. Help with office and logistical support. Handle general and user inquiries

. Quarterly Physical Verification of Assets Monthly reconciliation of asset register against general ledger Perform general administrative and records management tasks

. Prepare weekly journal entries Post bank transactions daily Load of suppliers and customers (creditors and debtors) Monthly delinquent management Project accounting weekly

. Monthly creditor reconciliations Monthly debtors reconciliations Weekly bank reconciliations Weekly batch payment processing Weekly petty cash reconciliations Capture of transactions in the accounting system in pastel colors Review the record of contracts monthly Monthly commitment schedule update Correct daily filing system, both electronic and manual

Qualifications and Experience:

grade 12 3-year National Diploma/Btech/Financial Accounting/Related Field Degree

1 year work experience in the financial industry Knowledge and understanding of Law 1 of 1999 on Public Finance Management.

Skills and competencies:

High degree of accuracy Deep understanding of the business process. Attention to details Ability to solve problems number skills Communication skills High degree of attention and customer care.
