Mandaryn Boerdery requires the services of an energetic and motivated Management Accountant to join our dynamic team.
Experience in the agricultural sector will be valued.
Key Performance Areas:
• Responsible for primary processing and review of all accounting transactions
• Daily processing of transactions, as well as review of the work carried out by creditors and salary employees
• Responsible for all monthly balance reconciliations
• Payroll review for accuracy and completeness
• Help monitor and improve internal controls
• Ad hoc deliverables
• Accounting for all fruit revenues, packing costs and production costs on the farm
• Preparation of monthly trial balance for all entities involved
• Legal reports/presentations
• Direct report to the General Manager
REQUIREMENTS:
• Grade 12 or equivalent to NQF level 4
• B.Com Accounting
• SAICA / SAIPA articles completed
• Excellent computer literacy (MS Excel advanced)
• Proficient in the Xero accounting system will be advantageous
• Experience in the fruit industry will be advantageous
• Competent with respect to company statutory rules: TAX/VAT/PAYE
• Must be an entrepreneur with excellent problem solving skills
