Case Manager (Labor Consultant)

Remuneration: R12k to R14k per month

WJB is looking for a driven and motivated individual with in-depth knowledge of all employment law, employment consulting and dispute resolution procedures.

Primary Job Function Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Advise clients within various industry sectors regarding labor compliance, labor matters, and labor procedures. Conduct abatement, grievance meetings, and employee counseling sessions and advise clients on the appropriate process. Advise and make exemption requests. Assist and advise clients during the resolution of disputes and/or internal conflicts. Management and administration of disciplinary processes with a focus on the application of procedural and substantive fairness. Preparation and representation of clients during conciliation and arbitration procedures in the CCMA or Bargaining Council. Drafting of pleadings: requests for rescission/remission and arguments, etc. Interpret the Basic Employment Conditions Law, the Labor Relations Law, the Sectoral Determinations and several other Collective Agreements/Main Agreements and national laws.

Experience Requirements:

At least two (2) years of proven experience with employment law and CCMA procedures and disciplinary hearings. Valid driver’s license and reliable own vehicle

Critical Skills:
