Leader, Data Analyst Location: Johannesburg Duration: 6 Months Contract Gijima is looking for an experienced and qualified Lead, Data Analyst to work at a client site in Johannesburg.
Description of the purpose of the work:
Lead a team in delivering an integrated data solution in alignment with the overall enterprise information technology architecture and in the context of organizational strategy, ensuring the delivery of integrated and granular data to manage both risk and compliance bank and its customers. Requirements: Minimum degree: First Degree Field of study: Information Technology Preferred Qualification: Honors Degree Field of Study: Information Technology Other Preferred Qualifications: Professional Certifications or Memberships IBM Watson IoT Data Science Certificate or Certified Analytics Professional (CAP) Experience: Age: 5-7 Years A strong background in IT and constantly staying up-to-date with developments in the field. Proven track record for a broad spectrum of stakeholders, including senior executives. Knowledge of Agile and Lean frameworks, methods and practices and experience in being a catalyst for organizational change. Experience working with cross-functional teams fostering collaboration and teamwork. Exposure to extensive business and financial management experience, specifically within the banking sector. Good knowledge of Standard Bank’s IT environment Full life cycle design and development experience covering solution design, application design, development, testing and maintenance. Extensive experience in application development methodologies, database methodology, programming languages, database concepts, and IT infrastructure and operations. Experience using agile software development methodologies and associated practices such as continuous integration, software-defined infrastructure, evolutionary architecture, etc. Proven ability to work effectively as a team leader and as a member of a small team of technical staff working in an agile development environment. A track record in skills and competency development and staff training is required. Manage end-to-end data products in a large, multidimensional corporate environment. This should include an understanding of data architecture and data governance.
