ROLE TITLE: Technical Services Supervisor DIVISION: Hospital Division LOCATION: Netcare Greenacres Hospital REPORTING STRUCTURE: Technical Services Manager CLOSING DATE: April 26, 2022 SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS The Technical Services Supervisor is responsible for managing risks related to the Hospital’s technical infrastructure and assets related to all plant and equipment. The control and direction of the technical team. The command and the management of contractors and the guarantee that technically managed projects are controlled and safe. EDUCATION • Diploma in Electricity N at NQF level 6 or Electrical Trade with NQF level 5 or BTech in Electrical Engineering. • Advantageous job test in electrical engineering. • Advantageous electrician’s license. • Advantageous master electrician. • Preferably a member of the South African Federation of Hospital Engineers (SAFHE). WORK EXPERIENCE • A minimum of 3 years of relevant technical and supervisory experience in a hospital or hospitality-related industry with people management skills. • Computer literacy in MS Office. • Experience in project management. KNOWLEDGE • Familiarize yourself with the relevant statutory and regulatory standards. • Knowledge of the National Building Regulations. • Regulations of the Law on Safety and Health at Work relating to machines. • Knowledge of the R158 building regulations, specifically with regard to hospitals, theaters and industrial kitchens.
