Johannesburg North – We are seeking an African HR Manager (generalist experience) to support our HR department. Its main administrative functions include maintaining personnel records, managing human resources documents (eg, employment records and onboarding guides), and updating internal databases. Our ideal candidate has experience with human resources procedures and can juggle various administrative tasks in a timely manner. Ultimately, you must be able to ensure that our human resources department supports our employees while complying with labor laws. REQUIREMENTS Enrollment and Human Resources Management or equivalent degree It is essential to have a driver’s license and own vehicle Proven work experience as an HR Administrator Computer literacy (MS Office applications, in particular) Extensive knowledge of labor laws. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize important projects. Strong communication skills by phone, email and in person. Update internal databases (e.g. sick or maternity leave record) Prepare human resource documents, such as employment contracts and new hire guides Liaise with external partners, such as insurance providers, and ensure legal compliance Create regular reports and presentations on HR metrics (for example, turnover rates) Respond to employee queries on human resource related issues. Assist the payroll department by providing relevant employee information (for example, leaves of absence, sick days, and work schedules) Arrange travel accommodation and process expense forms Participate in human resources projects (for example, help organize a job fair event) Email karika@mcr.co.za
