Equity sales support function

Position: Equity Sales Support Function Location: Gauteng Duration: 4-5 months role purpose Assist the institutional equity sales team in a variety of administrative areas Success Criteria: 1) Free up valuable customer service time for the sales team (for calls, sales ideas, strategy, and ECM work) 2) Improve team administrative organization and cross-team collaboration Responsibilities • Extensive administrative support from the SA, UK and US Stock Sales team, including but not limited to: • KYC/Incorporation: o Drive internal (KYC, Legal, Compliance) and external engagement to ensure optimal KYC/onboarding customer experience and maximize conversion. o Research all the basic information about ‘address’, ‘registered address’, SEC information, etc. o Biweekly reports on progress and bottlenecks. o Equity Sales team members to hold full legal responsibility on setup and startup • Research agreements and CSA o Investigation agreements: customer engagement, MIFID compliance/removal of delinquent customers from distribution lists, billing and payment tracking o Singletrack engagement monitoring/ensure no slippage o CSA: assist the SA team with the management of CSA payments • Broker Platforms: o Timely upload of client interactions to relevant broker platforms (CorpAxe, Commcise, etc.) o When necessary, upload events to broker platforms. o Active management of SA and SSA Equity Sales and Research contact details on all platforms • NDRs/Analyst Marketing/Conferences/Travel: o Assistance in the programming of Roadshow (agenda, meeting rooms, transportation, printing) o Help the team book meetings with clients at conferences (AIC, SAT) o Assist the team with their own travel coordination. • Client requests and administration: o Assistance with thin client requests (for example, sharing research reports) o Assistance in coordinating events/calls led by Equity Sales o Customer database maintenance (Excel/Singletrack/Salesforce): tracking and management of team changes, contact details and addresses o Assistance with client mailing list management and access (email, but also research access in BBG/Factset) o Broker votes: monitor, circulate and track progress o Archiving – maintain an organized, secure, cloud-based filing system for all relevant documentation o File client meeting notes in Singletrack APPLICATIONS: Only candidates who meet the above requirements will be contacted.
